SUSTAINABILITY is the focus of the fashion parade at this year's Yorke Peninsula Field Days, with Australian-grown wool garments and gowns set to sashay down the runway.
MerinoSnug, ioMerino and Kangaroo Island Wool are among the labels to feature.
"I am a massive advocate for promoting Australian wool in fashion, having visited the factories of Merino & Co in Victoria," said Nadia Stamp, who is celebrating her sixth year as host of the fashion parade.
"Seeing how garments are made from Australian wool is very exciting as the quality keeps advancing and something we should be promoting and celebrating as part of our heritage."
Ms Stamp's fashion parades have become a highlight at the biennial field days as she continues to make her mark by showcasing a variety of Australian labels on the catwalk.
"I like to take attendees on a journey from fun, flirty fashion to the best of country style with a splash of glamour and easy-to-wear staples for everyone's wardrobe," she said.
Popular country brand, Ringers Western will feature on the catwalk, among other amazing Australian fashion identities including, Review Australia and Cazinc The Label.
The spotlight will also shine on Adelaide's popular boutique, Mon Ami, as well as Clare Valley's well-known, Mickelloo.
Ms Stamp will once again feature in the fashion parades, along with Melbourne-based curve model, Aspen Brain and eight models from Finesse Models Australia.
Cazinc The Label designer, Caz Rowland, a professional stylist for more than 15 years, will host daily sessions to offer tips - among other things - on how to wear a single outfit in many ways.
And the Australian Wool Network will showcase its DNA program, Bale to Retail, which builds the connection between the land, the people, the sheep and the fibre, modern Merino wool.
Melbourne Vocalist Jenna Stamp will sing nostalgic tunes during the fashion parades that are held on September 24, 25 and 26 at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm in the Murray Allen Wool and Sheep Pavilion.
Southern Cross Austereo will sponsor the event.
