MURRAY BRIDGE
Yarding: 623
Lambs to $162
Numbers were down at the fourth and final Murray Bridge prime lamb sale of the year, in comparison to the market's previous yarding, but the quality of the offering remained high, according to Landmark Murray Bridge livestock agent Kevin Keller.
"They're still good, fresh lambs, the quality has got better as the season has gone on," he said.
"People are still chasing feeder lambs, and the rain on the weekend probably hasn't hurt that demand either."
Elders Murray Bridge livestock manager Justin Robertson said the tough season had contributed to the small yarding.

"Subject to the drought, a lot of people haven't mated Merino ewes, instead they've consolidated their numbers," he said.
The top price of $162 was paid by Thomas Foods International for 18 crossbred lambs from DJ Kubenk & Sons, Murray Bridge.
BE Launer, Ettrick, made the second-top price of $155 for a pen of five lambs, while M Guthrie & Sons, Gumeracha, sold 73 for $150.
MC&RL Williss, Brinkley, sold nine at $130 as well as 39 that made $148, a price also made by 21 from BJ&CJ Borrett, Langhorne Creek.
Buying support came mainly from TFI and Elders Bordertown.
