OLDER crossbred lambs sold to $257 to top the market at Ouyen Livestock Exchange, Vic, on Thursday.
T&S Monaghan, Tempy, Vic, sold the 35 head at $257, as well as 77 crossbred sucker lambs at $229.
G Pickering, Kulwin, Vic, sold the sale's top crossbred sucker lambs - 62 at $234 - and another 46 at $199.
Overall, 9844 lambs and 2876 mutton were offered.
Export crossbred lambs sold from $188 to $257, or $7.40-$8/kg; trade types made $140-$200 or $7.70-$8.20/kg; while store and lighter lambs made $96-$148 or $7.20-$9.50/kg.
Light Merinos were offered, making $88-$124 or $7.50-$8/kg.
Heavy mutton made $145-$187 or $5.50-$5.90/kg, while light mutton made $83.50-$140 or $4.80-$6/kg.
C&S Jenzen, Lameroo, sold 88 mutton at $187, while Kulwin Ag, Kulwin, sold 62 at $177.
