The SA Next Generation group held its biennial Boots & Black Tie Ball in the Adelaide Town Hall.
Guest Master of Ceremonies, Primary Industries and Regional Development Minister Tim Whetstone, used his address to issue a challenge to those in the room.
He said primary industries in SA was worth about $20 billion, throughout the value chain, but the goal was to grow that to $30b.
"If you are going to be a part of this great industry, you are a part of that target," he said.
