MORE than 150 students from schools in the Mid North were able to gain hands-on training in cattle handling, and for the first time this year sheep skills were also included in the program.
The event was held at Jamestown and multiple industry leaders showed students how to handle, groom and judge livestock.
Coordinator Daniel Ferme, Gum View Charolais, said the event had continue to grow in its third year.
"It is becoming a great event for students to prepare for the Royal Adelaide Show," he said.
