TERTIARY students with connections to the Western Division of NSW are being urged to get their applications in for the Robert Seekamp Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarship, which closes July 31, was set up to commemorate the work of Rob Seekamp. It is worth $2500 and is awarded each year.
It aims to promote further education of someone from the Western Division region and surrounding areas who is pursuing a course of study, through university or Tafe, that would benefit the area.
The scholarship applicants will be assessed by an independent panel made up of an educationalist, social worker and professional person drawn from the community.
