A big crowd gathered in Redhill at the weekend to celebrate the town's 150th birthday.
The event was attended by past and present Redhill residents, as well as politicians and local government representatives.
A morning church service kicked off the celebrations, with other activities on the day including egg throwing competitions, egg and spoon races, a display of vintage cars, and the judging of a cake baking competition.

The town was established in the late 19th century and was originally called Broughton, with the name changing to Redhill in 1940.
Another 37 towns also had their names changed in the same year.
