OUYEN Livestock Exchange, Vic, has smashed its saleyard record, hitting $346 for crossbred lambs.
A fortnight ago, the previous record of $320 was reached.
Yesterday's sale also reached the lofty heights of $10 a kilogram for lambs.
MG Lynch, Morkalla, sold 123 crossbred lambs at the $346 top, and another 312 at an impressive $340.
B&C O'Callaghan, Ouyen, was the next closest with 85 crossbred lambs at $336, while KP&RI Kelly, Werrimull, Vic, sold 71 at $303.
Waymel, Ouyen, received $301 for 23 crossbred lambs, while W Schultz, Mittyack, Vic, sold 25 at $296.
Overall, export crossbred lambs sold from $260 to $346, or $8.80-$10/kg, while trade types made $180-$257, or $8.70-$10/kg, and store lambs sold from $101-$180, or $8.50-$10/kg.

Heavy Merinos sold from $8.80-$9.80/kg, while lighter types made $8.50-$9.50/kg.
Richwood Farms, Nowingi, Vic, sold 59 Merinos at $230, while MV Curtis, Wargan, sold 49 at $228.
G Izard, Merbein South, Vic, sold 86 Merinos at $224, while F&L Latta, Walpeup, VIc, sold 24 at $215.
Heavy mutton sold from $167-$236, or $5.80- $6.40/kg, while lighter types sold from $100-$165, or $4.80-$6.40/kg.
N&F Hamilton, Ouyen, sold the top mutton with 45 making $236, while MKJ Heinicke, Pinnaroo, received $220 for 104.
E&O Heintze, Murrayville, Vic, sold 20 mutton at $212, while N Rowney, Gama, sold 28 at $210.
