More than 100 agribusiness representatives converged on the National Wine Centre in Adelaide last Friday for Agribusiness Australia's annual CEO lunch.
Thomas Foods International chief executive officer Darren Thomas was guest speaker on the day, and provided an insight into how the company dealt with last year's fire which devastated the Murray Bridge processing facility.
Mr Thomas also talked about the company's vision moving forward, in light of TFI's announcement to build a new state-of-the-art abattoir on a greenfield site ten kilometres from the Murray Bridge township.
The abattoir could be processing beef at the new abattoir as early as November next year, with sheep, lamb and goats to follow.
Stock Journal's CLAIRE HARRIS went along to the event and took these photographs.
