ENTRIES are open for the 2019 Corteva Young Grower of the Year Award.
The award honours growers, aged 35 years or less, who champion the success of the Australian horticulture industry and show a commitment to innovation, helping to define the next generations of growers.
It is part of the AUSVEG National Awards for Excellence which will be presented on Wednesday June 26 during the Hort Connections convention in Melbourne.
Corteva Horticulture Insecticides marketing manager Nick Koch said the award was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our future industry leaders.
"Every day, in every field and paddock, in every part of Australia, there are young growers achieving great things for our horticulture industry," he said.
"Our aim is to see these young growers recognised for their hard work and dedication within their communities."
"Corteva Agriscience is proud to continue our support for the award. Our industry needs more young people involved to continue to build on our fertile history. It's vital that we celebrate the achievements of the next generation of leaders."
Nominations close on Friday, April 26.
