The racing season is back in action in the Curry for 2019.
Saturday March 23 showcased the Bell Rural Contracting Weather Together Races with gates opening at 11.30am.
The name was changed from the usual Luau Races to "Weather Together" in light of the recent flood devastation in the area though the beach and Hawaiian costumes were still out in force on the track.
A big crowd enjoyed a free day at the field at Schumacher Park with the cloud cover keeping temperatures down though nothing could keep the flies away.
It didn't stop closely contested racing in the five-race card with champion jockey Dan Ballard claiming another treble in wins.
