WA breeders were out in force buying the two highest price rams sold in helmsman sales conducted by Elders.
Collinsville stud,Mount Bryan, received $9500 for a ram bought by Greg Carmody, Mittakeri stud, Kulin, while Ockley Park stud, Narrogin, bid to $9000 for a Greenfields ram.
The Greenfields ram was also in the Sullivan families' winning Merino championship pair.
