A cruel act of arson last month turned the Yorke Peninsula Field Days administration complex into a pile of burnt ruins, in what locals say is one of a number of suspicious fires in the region.
YP Field Days chief executive officer Peter Anderson said everything within the building was lost in the fire, including office equipment and furniture, hard copy files, historical records and photographs.
Despite the setback, Mr Anderson said this year's field days were still going ahead as planned.
"In the meantime we've made the decision that our prospectus will this year go onto our website," he said.
"We'd love for prospective exhibitors to view it and submit their applications."
Yorke Mid North local service area superintendent Damian Powell said the fire was believed to be deliberately lit, and the investigation was ongoing.
The blaze coincides with a noticeable rise in crime rates in the area during the past few months, with Kadina Neighbourhood Watch area coordinator Ken Kakoschke saying there have been a number of suspicious fires.
"We've certainly noticed an increase in crime across the area recently, and there have been a few other fires lit in the region since the start of the year," he said.
