AS GROWERS prepare for the upcoming sowing season, they will be able to hear about tricks for pulses from industry experts without having to leave the farm.
GRDC will be hosting a series of short online webinars this month, with industry experts providing an overview of agronomic information, research findings and market information for individual pulse crop types.
GRDC's southern systems and agronomy manager Andrew Etherton said the Growing Pulses webinar series would be a valuable addition to growers’ preparations for the 2019 cropping season.
“The GRDC recognises that this is a busy time of the year for growers, with so many events on the calendar ahead of sowing,” he said.
“We have therefore chosen a webinar format for the pulse crop forums, so growers and other industry personnel can conveniently tune in from their homes or offices.
“Each webinar is focused on a particular crop type so growers and others can choose which webinars are best suited to their interests and needs.”
Growers are encouraged to join the webinars live to interact with industry experts and to extract the most value from each forum.
Webinar recordings will be made available on the GRDC website following the events.
