A new CWA branch for the Goyder region is ready to launch, with the inaugural meeting to be held this Friday night.
Women from the region have been working consistently in order to get the new regional branch off the ground, with Robertstown resident Steph Schmidt and University of Adelaide researcher Emily Buddle leading the way.
"Re-establishing a branch in the region is a little bit special, as this year is the 90th anniversary of the creation of the SACWA, and the original branch was established in Burra," Ms Buddle said.
The meeting will be held in the Robertstown Peace Hall from 6:30pm.
All women from the Goyder region, spanning from Eudunda to Burra and Spalding, are invited to attend.
The inaugural branch committee will be elected, and future meeting agendas will be discussed.
