In the month of June in 1993 SA’s graingrowers were battling a pretty dry year and a spike in mice activity. But in the saleyards, livestock sales were reaching new high prices for top stock. National shows and sales for Shorthorn and Hereford breeders were being held in NSW, attracting visitors from across the country.
