MGA Insurance Group is a major sponsor of Stock Journal Beef Week – a commitment MGA marketing manager Steve McInerney said reflected the company’s approach to its large regional client base.
By supporting major events such as Beef Week, he said MGA was putting its money behind rural industry.
“The cover we provide the stud stock industry and the rural sector as a whole, makes this sponsorship a perfect fit,” Mr McInerney said.
“Since the mid 1970s, MGA has been helping to insure the transit of bulls from sales to their new properties, but we also deliver with access to cover for death – by accident, illness or disease – as well as loss of use. These covers are now being provided to the second and third generation families of our original clients.
“We are more than happy to visit on-farm and help build them tailored policies to cover their entire farm, including livestock and crops.”
He said because MGA was a broker, it was able to access covers not available elsewhere to create something that suited an individual farm business, instead of trying to fit clients into a policy.
Mr McInerney said his company provided a wide range of services for farmers of all descriptions – cropping, viticulture, horticulture and livestock, as well as rural contractors.
“With 39 offices around Australia, people can see that although they are dealing with a local, in an office not far from their farm, they are also dealing with a business that has fantastic financial backing and access to specialist covers,” he said.
