THE 2019 sale calendar at the Ouyen Livestock Exchange has been released.
Auctions will kick off again on January 10.
The sale will be held fortnightly for the first seven months of the year.
August and September will have weekly sales.
The dates in October are the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 31st.
The Ouyen sale, which is popular with many SA sellers and agents, finished up for this year on October 18 with a dearer trend.
Export crossbred sucker lambs made from $160-$216 or $6.80 a kilogram to $8/kg, trades from $125-$192 or $7-$8/kg and stores brought in $57-$126 or $7.60-$8.20/kg.
Topping the market was P&B O’Brien, Speed, Vic, with 56 lambs at $216. The same vendor also sold a further 66 at $200.
The top SA crossbred sucker lamb seller was K&L Pfieffer, Parrakie, with 106 at $212.
