It was perfect weather for the 155th Naracoorte Show on the weekend with about 3200 people flocking through the gates, including many families.
The main attractions which drew a crowd included Factory FMX motocross riders, Circus Elements’ Griffini performance with juggling and unicycle stunts and South East Snake Awareness.
The beef cattle section was well-supported with 10 exhibitors and 32 head judged by Chris Steer, Warrensville Poll Hereford stud, Bordertown.
The Galpin family, Warrawindi Limousin stud, Penola, took out the supreme beef exhibit with an 18-month-old heifer, Warrawindi National Treasure N14.
Numbers were also up in the Limestone Coast Ute Muster with 37 utes from an FX Holden Ute, the first model made in 1951-1953, to the latest Ford and Holdens complete with stickers and flags.
The Naracoorte Spinners and Weavers Group won the Chris Higgs Memorial Trophy for the Best Trade Site.
