IT was a great finish to the 21st biennial Eyre Peninsula Field Days, with perfect weather in the morning followed by welcome rain in the afternoon.
As well as performances by children’s favourite George the Farmer, other entertainment included a beer demonstration, emceed by Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello.
The EP Field Days provided a great showcase of the region and the latest in farming technology, as well as lifestyle and food stalls.
The event featured more than 450 exhibitors.
Field days president Geoff Bammann says not only does the field days provide a great opportunity for community groups to raise money, it is also good for local businesses as well.
“It’s a great opportunity for businesses to showcase products that people wouldn’t normally see or even know about,” he said.
