BEER Garden Brewery owners Mark and Janie Butterworth will be sharing their Beer Garden Brewery story at the Eyre Peninsula Field Days.
BGB is located in Port Lincoln on the pristine Eyre Peninsula - an area known for its surf beaches, recreational and commercial fishing, shark cage diving and wheat and barley farming.
Owners and operators, Mark and Janie, use local grain in every beer they brew and hold sustainability as a key value with solar power, use of rainwater for brewing, recycling of wastewater, an edible beer garden and spent grain from the brewing process feeding cows that later return to the business’ menu to close the loop.
BGB is a wholly family-owned local Eyre Peninsula business, with Port Lincoln locals Mark and Janie Butterworth and their three boys at the helm.
Being local is important to the Butterworths and strive to create a venue that will champion not only their local beer, but other great Eyre Peninsula local products including food, wine, coffee and music.
Eyre Roasted, the Eyre Peninsula’s first coffee roasters, roast their coffee onsite.
Mark and Janie will be sharing their success story at 3pm on Wednesday and Thursday in the Eyre Peninsula Field Day Pavilion.
It is promised to be loads of fun with plenty of giveaways.
South Aussie with Cosi will be sharing the stage to assist with beer tastings, which will be paired with sumptuous local food.
You could be chosen to join Cosi on stage to help him out sampling some of EP’s finest beer and food.
It’s an event not to be missed.
