The last day of the Alice Springs Show featured the annual bull sale, with Qld couple Matt and Sally Bekker, Bos Park, Gympie, making the top price of $10,000.

Bos Park Jedi – a 22-month-old sire – sold for $10,000 to Landmark Alice Springs principal Steve Gaff.

Mr Gaff also bought the second highest price bull at $8000 – Bos Park Judge – the Bekker’s champion Droughtmaster bull.

While the top price was up on last year, the clearance and average was back.

The last day of the show also featured presentations, with all the previous day’s cattle judging winners lining up to receive their prizes.

That night exhibitors got the chance to let their hair down at the Centralian Beef Breeders Association annual dinner at the Lasseters complex in Alice Springs.
