THERE were about 150 sheep and lambs yarded at the regular Murray Bridge market on Wednesday, June 13.
Elders auctioneer Paul Keynes said for this time of year, with more end-of-season lambs, the market was reasonably firm.
Topping the sale with 11 lightweight trade lambs at $118 was JT Richards & Sons, Brinkley.
Selling 29 light SAMM store lambs at $75 was Twynam, Yumali.
LD Grieger, Nildottie, had 14 light Merino wether lambs sell for $94.
Most sheep and lambs were knocked down to butchers, along with a few local farmers.
The next Murray Bridge sheep and lamb sale will be held on Wednesday, June 27.
