After 14 years leading DairySA, regional manager Verity Ingham is moving on to a new role.
DairySA chairman Michael Connor said Ms Ingham has been working with the organisation since early in the days of regional development programs and had been part of the development of the model.
“Her passion for the dairy industry and the farmers has always been on show,” he said.
“Across that 14 years she has developed everything we do at DairySA – remember it was not so long ago that we had no extension in SA.
“She has built strong relationships and put DairySA in a great position.”
Ms Ingham is not leaving the dairy sector altogether but moving into a new role as extension development manager at Dairy Australia.
“I still really love what I do here but I’m looking to develop some new skills and let someone else take the role here,” she said.
The organisation is seeking a replacement for the regional manager role with someone expected to be in place by late July.
