FREE Eyre shareholders and clients were treated to fun at the races at the Adelaide 500 on the weekend.
The event was also a fundraiser for FREE Eyre’s Eyre Peninsula Agriculture Scholarship, which goes to an EP student studying an agricultural-related course at the University of Adelaide.
Attendees got a taste of the EP, with Gazander Oysters offering their produce, and other EP meats and seafood on hand.
More than 268,000 people poured through the gates of the Adelaide 500 track at Victoria Park to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iconic SA event.
More than 4.8 million fans have attended the event in the past 20 years.
The Adelaide 500 is Australia’s largest domestic motorsport event, providing an accumulated $545 million in economic benefit to the state, creating more than 400 full-time equivalent jobs per year, and filling Adelaide’s accommodation with interstate and overseas visitors.
