Leading hay, tillage and seeding equipment company, Kuhn Farm Machinery welcomed more than 300 dealers and customers to a recent field day at Cowra, NSW.
The event was attended by global product experts from the US and Europe, and allowed farmers to get hands on experience with a range of the company’s line-up.
More than 30 machines were showcased over the two day event including the Australian release of the Kuhn AGT 6036 pneumatic fertiliser Spreader; the Axent trailed spreader; and the HR 8040R power harrow and Excelerator vertical tillage system.
Kuhn North American tillage expert, Wade Oman, demonstrated the features and innovations of the Excelerator vertical tillage system.
He said the ‘Excalibur’ blades capture and slice through residue, meaning the machine offers exceptional residue cutting, soil and residue mixing and seedbed preparation in one pass.
Kuhn Australia’s Danny Tranter, said the AGT 6036 pneumatic fertiliser spreader, with a daily spreading capacity of 400 hectares, is perfect for fine and irregularly sized or prilled fertilisers.
“The AGT 6036 ensures precise spreading over the entire 36m working width regardless of wind, terrain inclination and fertiliser quality.”
He said the Axent spreader is the first trailed spreader allowing continuous adjustment during spreading and has two spreading modules for spreading different granule or powder type fertiliser products
Kuhn Australian managing director, Bruno Fetiveau, said the expo was a huge success with dealers and customers leaving with new knowledge and information about the range and technology.
