Great result in Lochaber

YOUNG first-cross ewes averaged $241 on AuctionsPlus last week. The top line was a mob of 140 unjoined 15-to-17-month-old ewes, weighing 67 kilograms, from RA Jones Family Trust, Lochaber, which sold for $280. First-cross ewe lambs sold to $155.50 and averaged $153. Merino wether lambs sold to $121 and averaged $99. Merino wether hoggets sold to $120.50 and averaged $98. Young Merino ewe prices ranged from $115-$246 and averaged $178.
