CFMoto has released its latest farm ready quad bike, the X500 Farm Spec.
CFMoto’s Michael Poynton said a soft launch at last week’s AgFest in Tasmania offered a good deal of feedback from farmers on the new model.
“The Farm spec model this one replaces was an instant sales success when it was released in 2012 –and for good reason.
“It was the only ATV at the time to come fully loaded with accessories our customers were looking for as standard.”
The accessories, valued at $2600, included wrap around protector bars, alloy bash plates, A-Arm protectors, a heavy duty winch, tow kit and handguards.
“As ATVs become more technologically advanced with electronic power steering and EFI systems over the years, the Farm Spec was given a makeover this year.,” Mr Poynton said.
Based on the successful X400 released in 2015 and the popularity of the X550, CFMoto are convinced the new X500 Farm Spec will make an immediate impact in the ag segment.
The quad has a ride-away price of $8490 and includes a new 500cc EFI engine, 35cm (14inch) six ply tyres, electronic power steering, and the accessories mentioned.
CFMoto said with the accessories pack it is more affordable option than competitor’s quads.
“The 450cc plus segment continues to be the ATV of choice for most Aussie farmers and we believe we have the right machine with plenty of potential to shake things up in this segment,” Mr Poynton said.
