Mandurah Catholic College
In Education

Mandurah Catholic College is a Kindergarten – Year 12 co-educational school established in 1992. Currently, 1630 students are enrolled in the Primary School and Secondary School. The inspiration for the foundation of the College came from Bishop Quinn, the Bishop of Bunbury. It was his vision, coupled with immense support from the Mandurah Catholic community that saw the initial transformation of this site of natural Australian bush land into the beautiful and growing school we have today. Mandurah Catholic College as a Catholic School is a christian community and seeks to provide an environment supportive of the development of Christian values, attitudes, beliefs and practices. It is a place where the young should encounter people of faith who show that they care deeply for the individual and are willing to share their own experience of faith.

As a true community, Mandurah Catholic College seeks to inspire its pupils in their search for values based on faith in Jesus Christ. It endeavours to engender in them a spirit of service towards others so that they will become signs of hope and purpose in their own world. The whole College community, by its participation in prayer, liturgy and works of charity and through the medium of regular religious instruction in class, strives to pass on to its students the full heritage and traditions of the Catholic Faith.

Situated in the parish of Our Lady’s Assumption, Mandurah, the College chaplaincy is filled by a priest from the parish. A close relationship is fostered with the contributory Primary Schools of Assumption Catholic Primary School, St. Damien’s Catholic Primary School, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Pinjarra and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Waroona.
