Poll Hereford calves from organ transplant support charity Herd of Hope were sold at the Mount Compass cattle market on Wednesday, raising more than $4200 for the organisation.
The May/June-2018 drop calves are from the cows that were walked on Sydney's Bondi Beach in March last year to raise awareness for families affected by organ donation, particularly those living in rural and regional areas.
The money made from the calves will be put towards funding a camp for children across the country who have had a loved one become an organ donor. The camp will be held in August at Undoolya Station, NT.
A 250kg steer sold at $747.50, or 299c/kg, two 205kg steers sold at $615, while a 155kg steer sold at $434.
The four heifers, weighing 170kg, sold at $467.50, or 170c/kg.

Pro-Stock Livestock's Scott Endersby said bidders got behind the cause to support the charity.
"The calves sold for about 30 per cent higher than what they should have been, in comparison to what other cattle had been selling for," he said.
Herd of Hope founder Megan McLoughlin said it was "life changing" to sell the calves.
"I'm over the moon with the result," she said.
Ms McLoughlin was grateful for the support of the bidders and other market attendees.
"I had about half a dozen farmers come up and talk to me afterwards, it was really lovely," she said.
She said many people had donated their time and services to get the cattle to the market, for which she was very thankful.
While the money raised from the calves has been a boost for the charity, Ms McLoughlin said more funds were still required, with 100 per cent of donations being put towards the charity's projects.
