The Hart Field-Site Group held its annual Getting the Crop In seminar at Clare this week to help growers prepare for the year ahead.
Sponsored by Rabobank it brought together some of the country’s leading agronomists and marketing specialists to provide direct access to information.
The popular Q&A farmer panel also returned this year and gave attendees the chance to ask innovative farmers Ben Hunt, Bordertown, AG Schilling & Co farm manager, Neil Wittwer, Paskeville, and Andrew Mitchell, Mintaro, questions to find solutions to any burning issues.
Key speakers at the event were the 2017 Hart regional intern Dylan Bruce, Clare, SARDI research scientist Kenton Porker, Clare, and Bordertown farmer Ben Hunt.
The 2017 Hart trials results book was also launched.
