SOUTH East producers got some insight into ways to lift their business at the Pathways to Productivity forum held in Keith.
The event had the theme people, business, productivity and included four special guest speakers looking at ways to make improvements across those three.
Consultant Ken Solly served as MC and also spoke about what constitutes a smart livestock business.
MacKillop Farm Management Group’s Danielle England spoke about ways to improve decision making.
Dan Hayes, in2IT Technology, Padthaway, spoke about some of the options to improve connectivity in regional areas.
The keynote address was from managing director of marketing company The Honeycomb Effect Carolyn Miller, who spoke about some of the trends in Australian consumers and the impact this has on local produce, particularly red meat.
