IT was a busy day in the Lower South East for day three of Stock Journal Beef Week.
The annual beef showcase started in the Mid North and Yorke Peninsula on Friday before moving on to the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and Riverland.
The past two days have been spent in the South East, with more than 70 studs, across 17 breeds, opening their farm gates.
Beef Week gives seedstock breeders the opportunity to showcase their bulls ahead of the on-property sales season, which agents say is once again likely to bring excellent prices and clearance rates.
For commercial producers, the event provides a chance to inspect the offering from multiple studs, enabling them to make more informed purchasing decisions in the weeks ahead.
