WETHERS sold to $125 and crossbreds to $122 at the final Crystal Brook store sale for 2017 on Thursday, December 14.
It was a quick sale with 3783 sheep and lambs yarded.
Demavista Pty Ltd, Maitland, sold 210 crossbred lambs, June/July 2017-drop, October shorn, for $122 to Pinkerton Palm Hamlyn & Steen Pinnaroo.
PL&JL Webb, Cowell, sold 67 Dohne wether lambs, September-shorn and Eagle Ridge-bld, for $125.
Peter Kuhlmann, Mudabie Pty Ltd, Mudamuckla, had good numbers in, selling 297 unshorn wether lambs, SWM-blood, for $114 to EP Livestock, along with 447 at $107 to Platinum Livestock Clare.
Mudabie also sold 44 crossbred lambs at $113, also to Platinum Livestock Clare.
Berryman Enterprises, Tumby Bay, sold 108 wethers, Nantoura-bld, for $117 and L Arnold Nominees, sold 93 wethers, Hyfield-bld, for $107.
Ceduna vendor Ooralin Pty Ltd sold 260 unshorn wether lambs, Pimbena-bld, for $96.
Another Ceduna vendor Glebe Nominees sold 257 hoggets, August 2016-drop, November-shorn and Pimbena-bld for $125.
AG&RR Alcock, Cleve, sold 141 ewe lambs, North Ashrose-bld, for $124.
The tops of the 1.5-year-old ewes came in from Bright Jack Trust, with 79 East Bungaree-blds at $181, sold to Landmark Balaklava.
