REPRESENTATIVES from Elders, along with shareholders, met for the major agribusiness company’s annual general meeting.
There was plenty of good news as Hutch Ranck looked back on “another incredible year of milestones” for the 2017 financial year.
Mr Ranck said the company had continued to build on its eight point plan, first devised in 2014, to get the “incredible turnaround story”.
“This result has been built on the hard work, dedication and pride of our employees, the outstanding loyalty of our clients and the patience and trust of our financiers and shareholders,” he said.
The AGM also had the election of Diana Eilert as a non-executive director to the Elders board.
Mr Ranck said the company would benefit for Ms Eilert’s extensive listed company director experience, especially in digital technologies, retailing and real estate.
