It was a tense time with harvest still ongoing and forecasts of up to 100 millimetres of rain to fall during a 24-hour period across major areas in SA.
While the storms did not reach those heights in most areas, there were still some lofty totals received.
The Upper North and Mid North experienced heavy falls, with the Bureau of Meteorology reporting 54mm for Booleroo Centre and 51mm for Carrieton.
Jamestown recorded 53mm, while Port Wakefield had 51mm.
Caltowie and Clare both recorded 43mm and Brinkworth had 45mm.
There were also heavy falls throughout the Murraylands, with Murray Bridge recording 48mm and Tailem Bend as much as 63mm.
Frances, in the South East, has 42mm.
Many is the Pastoral areas did not miss out, with Boolcoomatta in the state’s north east, record 94mm, while Ernabella in the north west had 41mm.
