YOUNG JUDGE: Urrbrae Agricultural High School student Jessica Dale was the overall winner of the 2017 Royal Adelaide Show grains young judges competition.
URRBRAE Agricultural High School student Jessica Dale, 17, Seacombe Gardens, has a strong interest in agriculture.
So when she found out about the junior grains judging competition at the Royal Adelaide Show, she jumped at the chance to compete and was thrilled to be named the overall winner.
“I’m always looking for more experience in the field,” she said.
Jessica hopes to use her new skills if she is successful in gaining a school holiday harvest job at Viterra.
She will go on to represent the state in the national grains judging competition at the Royal Adelaide Show next year.
