HARDI Australia launched four new and improved machines at the 2017 showcase event at its Adelaide headquarters on Wednesday.
Themed The Evolution Continues, HARDI unveiled the latest progress in agricultural machinery to more than 100 of Australia's biggest dealers.
Building on the revolutionary 2016 RUBICON 9000 launch, the largest self-propelled sprayer on the market, the showcase presented the RUBICON 6500 front-mount boom, SARITOR 62 Active, Commander 8500 Active Air and the Mega Linkage Sprayer.
HARDI Australia self-propelled product manager Steve Lancaster said the increased technology of ISOBUS, data communication technology, had allowed growers to react faster with chemical application.
"This will undoubtedly help growers be more efficient and have better productivity," he said.
"Last season we introduced the Rubicon 9000 and with the evolution of the machine we have created a 6500 litre version into the market place and also evolved our current SARITOR 5500 up to 6200 litres with fixed axles and active air, and increased the horsepower to suit the market demands.
"The Commander 8500, we have added active air which is higher circulation, and very quick and active and instantaneous spraying system to the machine that will suit the current market."
HARDI Australia chief executive officer Bill Franklin said the event demonstrated how HARDI can deliver superior and unique value to Australian farmers.
“Last year we unveiled the Rubicon and the first manifestation was the 9000 litre model but the second manifestation is the 6500 litre and what we have created is a platform for evolution and not just a product,” he said.
“This platform will continue to grow and develop, so the market can watch this space.”
Mr Franklin said the showcase was timed so products could be released to dealers and allow forward selling for a 2018 delivery.
“The reveal of new products will enable our dealers to represent new products through the HARDI brand to not only loyal HARDI customers but also pitch to non-HARDI customers in the past, that our machines could add value to their farming operations,” he said.
“It is pure and simple; our people set us a apart from competitors because we are utterly committed to our customers.”
The Rubicon 6500 is available now and the SARITOR 62 Active and Commander 8500 Active Air will be available in August.
