TRADE lambs were firm to $5 dearer at Ouyen, Vic, on Thursday last week, while mutton were firm to $5-$10 dearer.
Export crossbred lambs sold from $180-$230, or $6.40 a kilogram to $6.60/kg, with the top price going to 42 head from N&F Hamilton, Ouyen.
Millar Ag, Nandaly, Vic, sold two pens of crossbred lambs, totalling 306 head, at $228, while AOB, Bronzewing, Vic, sold 144 at $227.
Trade lambs sold from $110-$195, or $6.40-$6.80/kg, while store lambs made $43-$130.
Heavy Merino lambs sold to $182.60, for 61 offered by Hahnel Nominees, Timberoo, Vic, while F&H Stone, Torrita, Vic, sold 20 at $176.
Mutton sold to $180 for J&L Pryse, Torrita, who offered 22, while J&B Steer, Lameroo, sold 24 at $178.
