IN this week’s Flashback Friday we travel back to October 1985 where there were plenty of on-farm visits, ewe sales and sheep dog trials keeping our photographers busy.

Brothers Paul Daniel, Melville, Bowmans; and Rod Daniel, Kulpara, were on the front page of the Stock Journal on October 31, 1985, when they made the first delivery of the season to the Ardrossan terminal with Forrest barley from a 109 hectare block at Bowmans.

Adrian Pederick, Vine Hill, Coomandook, and furry friend Ralph (Wal Siedel, Coonalpyn) were surprise entrants in Amateur Yard Dog trials at Broadacre farm, Netherton.
