Silvan has expanded its 12 volt sprayer range to cater for the lifestyle farming, small acreage and ground maintenance crowd with sprayers suitable for quad bikes and side by side vehicles.
The fully equipped spray units are available with tanks from 25 to 200 litres and are designed for on-vehicle mounting, including a 50 litre quad bike version.
The larger tanks have provision for tie down straps or can be bolted to a vehicle tray and some models are designed to slip on or off for seasonal spraying needs.
There is one battery powered sprayer, but the majority of the Silvan models harness the vehicle's system to power a high capacity Smoothflo pump offering flow rates of up to 7.0 litres per minute at 120 psi.
The units are designed for a variety of applications including spot spraying of weeds or vegetation along fence or tree lines, for fertiliser application, watering or general property maintenance tasks.
Silvan Selecta’s Michael Frost said the “two latest additions are Selecta Trukpak models with 200 litre Polytuff tanks factory fitted with either a 15 metre length of 10 millimetre hose on a retractable hose reel or a 30m length wind up hose reel.
“Both versions are designed to access spray positions the vehicle cannot access for noxious weed control, blackberry eradication or similar.
The Polytuff tanks are UV stabilised and impact resistant and formed with space to house the pressure pump as well as to retain the hose, lance and gun securely.
