Five major South Australian political party representatives spoke about issues affecting regional South Australians in an online video debate in June.
The special five-day series was pulled together by Fairfax Media South Australia. Representatives from the Liberals, Labor, Nick Xenophon Team, Family First and the Greens all appeared in the online debate.
Representatives include Greens Senator Robert Simms, Labor Member for Wakefield Nick Champion, Nick Xenophon Team leader, Senator Nick Xenophon, Liberal Senator Anne Ruston and Family First Senator Bob Day.
The first video in the series introduces the parties’ stances on issues pertinent to regional South Australians, while the politicians also debate how the current government is travelling.
The second video in the series sees the politicians debate how a Federal government can keep the economy tracking well, and how to provide more jobs.
The third video in the series sees the politicians debate Australian agriculture, and how to sustain it into the future.
The fourth video in the series sees the politicians debate climate change and the Australian environment.
The final video in the series sees the politicians debate Australian people and social issues.
