Bulls go under scrutiny in buying workshop

In the lead up to bull sale season, the Barossa Improved Grazing Group and Meat & Livestock Australia’s More Beef from Pastures program have hosted a better bull selection workshop. The workshop involved a talk from University of Adelaide lecturer and stud manager Darren Koopman at Tungkillo on structural soundness, as well as talks from production animal health lecturer Kiro Petrovski on animal health and Wayne Pitchford on Breedplan objectives at Wellington Lodge.
