AUSTRALIAN Grain Growers Co-operative (AGG Co-op) chief executive officer Simon McNair has announced his resignation.
Mr McNair informed the Co-op earlier this week he would be leaving the position for personal reasons.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time working with AGG Co-op and wish the co-operative all the best as it grows and matures as a grower-owned and controlled grain marketer,” Mr McNair said.
AGG Co-op chairman Andrew Polkinghorne said Mr McNair will help in the transition of the co-op’s management to temporary business manager and board member Max Ormsby, at the co-op’s request.
“On behalf of the AGG Co-op board, we would like to thank Simon for the skills, experience and input he has contributed. We have valued his insights into the grain marketing trade and wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” Mr Polkinghorne said.
