AGENTS yarded 6200 lambs for the prime lamb sale at Murray Bridge on September 15, with the best selling to $127.
"There was a good range of lambs, with a good number of lambs still showing reasonable freshness," said Elders' Phil Nagel.
"Choice export lambs sold to $127, medium to heavy trade lambs realised $110-$120 and lighter trade lambs sold from $90-$105.
"There was a large number of store crossbred lambs yarded and these sold to strong competition from South East and local restockers, from $72-$83 or $1.95-$2.10/kg liveweight."
Landmark's Kevin Keller said the sale went okay, with a considerable amount of lighter lambs on offer.
"A lot of lighter lambs were showing that the last month hasn't been that kind (season-wise)," he said.
