EAGLE-eyed foodies at the Strathalbyn working sheepdog trials on the weekend might have spotted a famous face in the crowd.
Sydney chef Matt Moran - a self-professed "country boy" who likes attending sheepdog trials - was just one of the crowd watching on as dogs were put through their paces.
Later on Sunday afternoon, he cooked up some tasty morsels for the lucky crowd.
Matt (pictured) was in the region filming for his award-winning TV series Paddock to Plate, which airs on Foxtels' The Lifestyle Channel.
"I am proud to say the first series ranked in the top two programs for its timeslot for subscription TV and recently won the ASTRA Award for most outstanding lifestyle program," he said.
The first series visited producers on the East Coast of Australia.
The second series is currently being filmed and will feature four SA and four WA episodes, with Matt visiting artisan producers across the region.
"We're filming episodes in the Barossa, Riverland, Eyre Peninsula and Fleurieu Peninsula," he said.
"We looked for interesting stories but also quality produce, and we'll be showcasing some of these farmers and what they do to 'get it right'."
Matt - who finishes up filming in SA this week - said he had thoroughly enjoyed his SA adventure.
"You've got some amazing produce and amazing people, and a great range of fresh food from coast to pasture."
Paddock to Plate will air later this year on The Lifestyle Channel.
