WALMONA Pastoral topped off a successful Royal Adelaide Show with senior, grand and supreme Santa Gertrudis exhibit Walmona Quail paraded with an impressive-size calf.
It was not her first time in the winner's circle, having previously won Adelaide ribbons for reserve junior female and reserve senior champion female.
Her winning genetics were a family affair, with one of her calves becoming senior champion bull.
Judge and Santa Gertrudis breeder Andrew Chapman, Calliope, Qld, said the champion cow exhibited a lot of "great beef characteristics''.
